Reflection questions

  • At what stage (of the 3 stages mentionned in this module) is your local government currently at in relation to mainstreaming Agenda 2030?
  • What challenges are you facing in further mainstreaming Agenda 2023 in your local government?
  • Does your local government disaggregate data in terms of gender? What other data is available? Can you access this to plan your ICLD project?

Facilitation tips

This online course may be facilitated by the ICLD in our programmes but this section should also provide you with enough inspiration if you would like to facilitate it independently.

  • Ask your group to review their action plans in their Problem Oriented Project Planning worbook. Do any actions contribute to the mainstreaming of Agenda 2030 in their local government?
  • Ask your group to review their stakeholder analyses in their Problem Oriented Project Planning worbook – have they included everyone? Does the project group need to engage further with certain groups?

This module has related to the following other ICLD courses:

  • Gender Equality
  • Human Rights-Based Approach
