In this module, we will look at Human Rights Budgeting Principles in Local Settings. We will learn that the formulation of a local human rights budget should begin with a process of identifying human rights obligations and gaps.
We will also increase our understanding of these principles by looking at the following case studies: human rights budgeting and an example of the human right to food in Scotland and participatory budgeting in Brazil.
